Bartholemews provide our staff with extensive training both externally and internally to assure they are up to date with the latest developments and changes to legislation. Adam Bartholemew B.A. CA
PRINCIPAL
Adam is a Chartered Accountant and became Principal of Bartholemews in July 2011. Adam’s clients include those in industry segments as diverse as hospitality, transport, retail, construction and primary production. He is a recognised Chartered Accountant SMSF Specialist and welcomes the opportunity to work with clients on the efficient management of their SMSFs.
Adam cares deeply about assisting his client’s achieving their business goals by providing sound, practical advice and by the implementation of efficiency building technologies.
Adam lives with his wife Sarah and daughter Elizabeth in suburban Launceston. When not at work, he is an extremely keen (but terrible) golfer, loves travelling, sharing fine wine and food with friends and is an avid reader of history.

Lizzie Vu CA
MANAGER
Lizzie just joined Bartholemews in July 2021 as a graduate accountant with a relevant Master degree from UTAS. She has steadily built up her accounting skills and knowledge by preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts.
Aside from work, she loves to try new baking recipes, do some gardening works in her backyard and watch funny pet videos on Youtube.

Allison Pinkard
PRACTICE MANAGER/BOOKKEEPING
Allison began working for Adam’s family’s firm as a trainee in 1992 and never left. Apart from her practice management responsibilities, she completes many of Bartholemews’ individual clients’ tax returns, as well as providing software support for their respective bookkeeping and payroll processing requirements.
At home, Allison is kept busy with her family: husband Brad, daughters Chelsea and Amelia. She enjoys drinks with friends, be it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and is also an annoyingly passionate Hawthorn supporter.

Man Tue Truong (Mandy)
ACCOUNTANT
Mandy is a graduate accountant with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. She joined Bartholemews in June 2022 planning to become a Chartered Accountant in the near future while self-developing a wide range of related skills.
She enjoys cooking Vietnamese food and loves travelling to get to know about different cultures and their people. She loves catching up with her friends and going out for brunches on the weekend.

Alexander Ly
ACCOUNTANT
Originally from Melbourne, Victoria, Alex joined Bartholemews in July 2024 and has a double degree in both Engineering and Accounting from Monash University. He has been previously involved with strata and body corporates with a strong focus on problem solving, financials and outcomes for the client. Overtime, he has been building up his knowledge of taxation accounting, developing related skills and gaining experience to assist clients gain strong outcomes.
In his free time, Alex enjoys spending time with his family and friends exploring Tasmania’s natural wonders. He also loves his photography and into technology and cars

Alyssa Scotney
ADMINISTRATION
Alyssa is our office assistant and receptionist who has been with us since 1998. She has a keen interest in all things Celtic, especially history, music and bagpipes.
Alyssa also enjoys catching up with friends, going to markets and travelling around Tasmania.

Janice Cartwright
ADMINISTRATION
Janice is our senior receptionist greeting clients at the front desk and is always happy to assist in any way she can.
Outside of work Janice enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, dressmaking and photography.
